Mawson Finland reported the final assay results from a 38-drill hole 2024 winter diamond drilling campaign at its Rajapalot project in northern Finland. The drilling was successful in intersecting more high-grade mineralization down dip the South Palokas deposit, returning e.g. 6m @ 2.24g/t Au and 302ppm Co and 5.3m @ 2.75g/t Au and 559ppm Co in drill hole PAL0361. Notably, drill hole PAL0364 also intersected 17m @ 1.05g/t Au and 224ppm Co in the footwall to South Palokas (“New Lens”).
The company’s exploration team is currently conducting additional surface geochemical and geophysical surveys to support the upcoming 2025 winter drilling program.
