Latitude 66 provided a development and exploration update for its KSB project in northern Finland. As part of the development of the project, the company has engaged Como Engineers to undertake a Scoping study, incorporating the project’s existing JORC Mineral Resource that is expected to be completed in Q1 2025.
The company further reported new assay results from recent drilling at its K9 and K1NE projects, with additional assays from other prospects still pending. At K9, five holes for a total of 724.5m were drilled to test the strike and plunge continuation of the known mineralization. The best intercept returned 4.75m @ 4.5g/t Au, 0.1% Co along the southwestern plunge extension of the deposit. At the K1NE prospect, drilling underneath a historic GTK hole extended the known Au-Co-Cu mineralization some 50 meters down plunge, returning e.g. 2m @ 4.4g/t Au, 1.1% Cu in the deepest hole.
Following regional target generation efforts the company also filed two exploration applications a few kilometers to the west of the K1 resource.
