Firefox Gold provided an exploration update on several new targets at its Mustajärvi project in northern Finland. Trenching at the Triangle target followed up high-grade grab samples of up to 4.82g/t Au and returned for example 1.83g/t Au over 1m or 1.43g/t Au over one meter.
Moreover, a ground magnetic survey has been completed over the Pikkulehto permit, an underexplored permit several kilometers east of the Mustajärvi discoveries. The geophysical survey has helped to better understand the structural architecture in the mostly till-covered area. Going forward, the company plans to conduct a bottom-of-till sampling program to identify potential bedrock anomalies.
