Valkea Resources published assay results from its maiden drilling campaign at the Aarnivalkea prospect in Northern Finland. A total of 6 diamond holes for a total of 1997m have been testing two zones within the larger prospect. The best grades were intersected at the Koivu zone, where drilling intersected high-grades up and down dip of the historic high-grade intercept in drill hole FAVD0064, returning up to 36.45 meters @1.50 g/t Au, including 15.35 meters @ 3.43 g/t Au, including 2.75 meters @ 12.92 g/t in drill holes AW-24-005.
The company is currently incorporating additional structural and geological information from this drilling campaign and new insights from a recent re-logging campaign into a new structural model that is intended to guide further drilling.
