Firefox Gold provided an update for its Kolho property where, under an earn-in agreement, Agnico Eagle is operating the exploration campaign. In 2024, work focused on the Nuttio permit, the first approved exploration permit within the larger property package. The initial work consisted of a property-wide ground gravity survey and a bottom-of-till sampling program resulting in 1619 samples taken by the end of 2024. Assay results received to date returned several gold-anomalous zones associated with pathfinder elements commonly associated with orogenic gold systems in the region.
In 2025, the bottom-of-till program will continue at Nuttio before testing additional areas within the wider Kolho property package. Notably, the BOT sampling rate is expected to increase through the addition of a second BOT rig.
