High-Grade U From Northern Sweden

Basin Energy provided an update on work at its Björkberget, Rävaberget, and Virka energy metals projects in northern Sweden. The company is currently conducting a relogging and sampling campaign of historic drill core from its projects in northern Sweden. To date, the company has re-assessed all holes identified from the Virka project and 28 holes from the Björkberget project indicating brittle controls on mineralization at Björka but a mix of brittle and ductile structural controls at Virka.

In addition, the company now received assay results from a re-analysis of two samples from the Björkberget project that previously triggered the upper detection limit for uranium mineralization. While one sample now returned 5.4% U3O8, the other one, returning >5.9% U3O8 once again reached the maximum detection limit for the chosen assay method.
