Playfair Mining Expands Its Norwegian Portfolio

Playfair Mining announced the acquisition of the Folldal project in central Norway. Located approx. 25km southwest of the southern end of the company’s RKV project, the 80.7 square km Folldal project includes four historic copper-zinc mines that have been mined from the mid-18th century until 1970 and produced several million tons of Cu-Zn ore. Playfair aims to utilize modern exploration techniques, to generate drill targets within the newly acquired property while planning to drill already established targets at the RKV project in the coming summer. The company notes that the Folldal project was acquired directly from the Norwegian government and holds no underlying property deals or royalties.
