AEX Gold provided an exploration update from its Sava project in southern Greenland. Located near an Archean craton margin and potentially correlating with other major metal provinces in Eastern Canada and northern Scandinavia, the company evaluates the greenfield project as prospective for IOCG and Porphyry style mineralization. The 2021 field program, consisting of remote sensing, geological mapping and sampling, airborne geophysics, and ionic geochemistry studies resulted in the definition of several targets based on IOCG and PC potential plots. The company concludes that the exploration efforts resulted in an improved geological understanding of the area that will aid to design future exploration work at Sava.
