Gungnir Resources reported the discovery of a new ultramafic unit of similar style to the host unit of the Lappvattnet Nickel deposit. The peridotite, containing minor sulfides, was intersected approximately 150m to the north of Lappvattnet in two holes (3.5m in LAP22-13 and 0.3m in LAP22-12). As the ultramafic unit was intercepted towards the end of the holes, both holes will be extended. In addition, two more holes are being drilled 40m to the east. To date in 2022, the company has drilled 1850m at Lapvattnet with initial assays expected within the coming weeks.
