EMX announced it optioned two polymetallic projects (“Sagvoll” & “Meråker”) in Norway to Lumira Energy Ltd, a private Australian company with plans to go public on the ASX in mid-2024. The two polymetallic projects are located in an early Paleoproterozoic VMS belt in central Norway. Both projects contain numerous historic mines and showings but have been subject to only limited amounts of modern exploration. At the Sagvoll project, a 2006 airborne geophysical survey identified multiple nickel-copper and VMS targets, but follow-up exploration work has never been completed.
