Amaroq Minerals reported results from drilling at its Sava copper project in southern Greenland. As part of the 2023 exploration program, the company drilled four holes totaling 2200m across two targets prospective for porphyry and epithermal style mineralization.

Three holes drilled at the Target West intersected copper-molybdenum mineralization over up to 345m with higher grade zones including e.g. 18m @ 0.31% CuEq. Surface mapping and sampling further identified a mineralized footprint of at least 3 km2.

A scout drill hole testing a hydrothermal stockwork vein system at “Target North” did not result in any obvious mineralization. For the 2024 field season, the company is considering deploying a ground IP survey over Target West.
