Northgold published exploration results from the 2023 field season at its Hirsikangas project in central Finland. Soil sampling at the Hanni SE prospect resulted in the identification of a promising soil anomaly along a possible shear or fault structure, in a geological setting similar to the Hirsikangas deposit located in the same belt, a few kilometers to the NW.
Further soil anomalism was identified at the Antinoja prospect southeast of a historically drilled target. Notably, the geochemical anomalies at Antinoja overlap with historic geophysical anomalies.
