District Metals announced the commencement of a 2,200m diamond drilling program the Stollberg project that is currently being advanced in collaboration with Boliden Mineral AB. The drilling program is designed to test the immediate surroundings of the historic Gränsgruvan mine, where polymetallic ore has historically been produced from 1943 to 1978. Drilling will be followed by downhole electromagnetic surveys, using Boliden’s in-house system and systematic whole rock lithogeochemical sampling to better understand the mineralized system.
