Firefox Gold reported results from a fall exploration program at its Jeesiö Au project in northern Finland. Trenching at the Katajavaara prospect revealed a zone of gold-mineralized quartz veins, with new channel samples returning up to 14.62g/t Au over 2.84m, 2.69g/t Au over 3.38m and 1.85g/t Au over 1.69m.
Additional prospecting at the Saittavaara prospect further resulted in the discovery of new gold mineralization returning up to 3.16g/t Au several hundred meters northwest of the original prospect.
