Kingrose Provides Update On BHP Exploration Alliance

Kingsrose Mining provided an update on its exploration alliance with BHP in northern Norway and central Finland.

In northern Norway, the alliance conducted a 5,067 line-km airborne gravity survey, and collected 554 soil samples and 208 rock chip samples in 2024. Polymetallic, high-grade copper-gold-PGE sulfide veins were discovered for example at Porsanger, returning up to 29% Cu (picture below). According to the company, these veins may be spatially related to deeper, massive sulfide accumulations.

Going forward, regional scale, Heli-borne EM surveys are expected to commence in late February this year.

In central Finland, the alliance conducted a 4,980 line-km airborne drone and groundmag survey and collected 795 soil samples and 87 rock chip samples. At the Rehula target, this resulted in the identification of new zones of outcropping mineralization, grading 0.46% Cu, 110ppm Co, 0.03g/t Pd.
