Aurion Stakes New Ground

Aurion Resources announced the claiming of new properties, prospective for gold and critical minerals in northeastern Finland. The generally underexplored region includes large areas that are considered to be prospective for lithium with historic till data showing anomalous lithium values on a regional scale. Gold has previously been discovered at the Auermavaara prospect with values up to 10.4g/t Au in grab samples and up to 0.4g/t Au in historic till sampling. With its Kaulus project, the company further staked parts of the Solki carbonatite complex, where historic GTK exploration work returned high-grade phosphate and REE mineralized intervals. The company notes that it will evaluate strategic options for the critical minerals opportunities.
