Aurion Resources reported assay results from four holes drilled at the Vanha prospect in the Kaaresselkä area. All of the four holes encountered gold mineralization, with the best intersection grading 3.68g/t Au over 11.35m (KS23071), thereby extending a higher-grade envelope some 30m towards the east. According to the company, the prospect remains open in all directions and is situated along a 15km long, prospective, but relatively unexplored, structural trend between Kaaresselkä and the Vuoma prospect.
