Firefox Gold reported results from an additional six drill holes, totaling 1617.5m of drilling at its Mustajärvi gold project in northern Finland. The program was successful in extending the gold mineralization of the east target at depth. Drill hole 23MJ013 successfully intersected multiple high-grade zones of gold mineralization including 13.5m @ 3.16g/t Au from 230.6m. Notably, drill hole 23MJ013 further intersected 6.5m @ 1.1g/t Au in often veined and strongly altered mafic sills, representing an uncommon host rock for gold mineralization at Mustajärvi. Following the encouraging results, the company is currently planning to have the drill rig back on site in spring.
